How do I install Club Builder on my Shopify store?
Install the app from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, the app automatically registers the Cart Transform function on your store. You then add the provided Liquid snippet to your product page template and tag the relevant products with 'club-builder'.
Which Shopify plans does Club Builder support?
Club Builder works on all Shopify plans including Basic, Grow, Advanced, and Plus. The Cart Transform pricing feature is available on all plans.
How does the dynamic pricing work?
When a customer configures their clubs and adds to cart, the widget calculates the total price based on their selections (base price + shaft upgrade + grip upgrade + individual club prices). This total is passed to Shopify's Cart Transform API, which overrides the cart line price automatically.
Do I need to modify my Shopify theme?
Only minimally. You need to add a single Liquid snippet to your product page template. This snippet loads the Club Builder widget for any product tagged with 'club-builder'. No other theme changes are required.
How do I link my Shopify products to Club Builder?
In the Club Builder admin dashboard, navigate to Products and link your Shopify product by entering its Shopify Product ID and Variant ID. You can find these in your Shopify Admin under the product URL.
What happens to the custom price at checkout?
The Cart Transform function intercepts the cart and replaces the base product price with the custom configured price. The customer sees the correct total at checkout, and the order is created with the correct price in Shopify.
Can I use Club Builder with multiple products?
Yes. You can configure as many products as you like in the admin dashboard. Each product can have its own set of shaft options, grip options, and club selections with individual price modifiers.
How do I uninstall Club Builder?
Uninstall the app from your Shopify Admin under Apps. If you would like your configuration data deleted from our servers, please contact us at support@evolutiongolf.co.uk after uninstalling.
